Science project blog 3/7/11
Today the mold in the heated environment on the felt got a very dark green. I am still trying to see if mold can produce oxygen. It would seem as though it does, because there are no plants in the heat environment but the oxygen levels keep rising. If it does it would be a severe experimental error. The first buds are appearing on the plants in the regular environment.

Mold is a decomposer. Do you remember from last year what that is? Mold needs oxygen to grow. Does that help?
